Nothing has come close to it so far
Appearing on Graham Norton I Liked: Cher/Keira Knightley/ Michael Fassbender /Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). I have to say that I was lucky enough to watch The Bureau a few years ago, and to be honest, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever watched. There’s a correlation between the two series, apparently it was mentioned that it “had an impact”; for that reason, but honestly, I wasn’t expecting a similar plot.
You won’t regret it
Don’t get me wrong, the series so far is incredible, great actors, good cinematography, but it wasn’t anything I hadn’t already seen in the French version. It’s too early to say what it’s going to be like, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to watch it. When Fassbender played a hitman in David Fincher’s The Killer and I saw that he was cast, I knew right away that he was a great choice for the role.
You wouldn’t watch it while cycling indoors
These types of series really require concentration when watching, so that you can follow all the characters in the story and the little details about them. Some people even find them slow, maybe even boring, but it’s these character traits and complex personal struggles and the slow build-up of tension that I think make them great. You either love these kinds of series or you don’t, there’s no middle ground.
